Taking part in Hampstead’s Tree Survey

Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum and Redington Frognal Community Group will be working together on mapping the wonderful trees we have in our area.

Our aim is to ensure Hampstead remains leafy and green, and that its historic trees are appropriately protected, with Camden’s help.

We want to produce a database of the trees in our area which can be seen on-line.  The trees for mapping will be both private and street trees, and include:

  • Veteran and historic trees
  • Trees that already have TPOs
  • Trees of a particularly interesting species
  • ‘Loved’ trees: trees that locals appreciate and wish to be retained within the treescape of their road.
