We hope you will join us at our third Annual General Meeting on
Thursday 3rd March, at St Stephen’s Rosslyn Hill.
The meeting will begin promptly at 7.00pm.
A great deal of work has been done since last year's AGM on drafting the Neighbourhood Plan. We aim to circulate the draft for public consultation in the spring. Janine Griffis, Forum chair, will provide an update.
In addition, we will give short briefings on projects that tie in closely with the objectives of the draft Plan. For example, the Forum has tested the air quality in Hampstead, with very interesting results. We have conducted a survey on which local projects should receive funding from Camden as a result of a new tax on development projects. We have succeeded in having several pubs designated as assets of community value. And our work on revising the Conservation Area Statement has led us to redefine 'character areas' in Hampstead that will help support the Plan's design policies.
A new Forum committee will be elected, and the accounts submitted for approval. There will also be a question and answer session.
Many thanks to those who have agreed to put their names forward to serve on the committee. Please click here to see the list of nominees along with their biographies.
We look forward to seeing you on 3rd March.
