Forum's 2018 AGM to be held on 12 March

The Hampstead Neighbourhood Forum's annual general meeting will be held on Monday 12 March 2018 at 7pm at Burgh House, New End Square, NW3 1LT. We do hope that members will be able to come. 

At the meeting, we will update you on the significant progress that we have made over the past year with the Hampstead Neighbourhood Plan. At last year's AGM, we launched a public consultation on a draft of the plan. You can read the minutes of the meeting here and see the presentation slides here.

Following adjustments made as a result of comments we received, we then submitted a draft to Camden, which held its own mandatory public consultation. This was completed in December, and the plan has now been submitted to an independent examiner. You can read more about this here.

Provided that the examination process is completed satisfactorily, the Plan will be submitted to a public referendum. If passed, it will take its place as a statutory document alongside Camden's plan, and will help to shape development in the area for the next 15 years. 

The Plan, drafted by the Forum over the past three years in close and repeated consultation with Hampstead residents, contains policies on design & heritage, the natural environment, basements, traffic & transport, the economy and housing & community.
